About Me
As someone who has experienced the discomfort of leaving school to pursue online studies during the Covid-19 pandemic, leaving home for the first time to study far away as an 18 year old and is now about to engage myself in psychology honours (online, again!) as well as travelling overseas, I really understand the difficulties that one can face in coming to terms with different transitional challenges: the search for a new identity, losing friends, making new relationships and learning about what it means to become an adult in 2026. These are normal human, young adult experiences, but we often lack the support and advice we need during these times, which can make the experience unnecessarily difficult and turn int into a battle rather than a ladder to climb. I believe that having someone to hear your voice during the process can be a powerful tool to allow thriving and personal growth.
My Approach
My degree gave me a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour and thought processes, which informs the way I guide conversations, and support reflection. I have interests in Existential Psychology, as well as Identity and Narrative psychology, which influence my session structure and the way I interact and care for those around me. Having worked with international students teaching English as a foreign language, I'm familiar with the emotional ups and downs of adjusting to new cultures and environments.
I'm here to listen, provide space for reflection and help you feel less alone as you navigate life's small and big transitions. All sessions are online, relaxed and judgement free. We will go at your pace, and the focus is on whichever topics you wish to explore with me.
